The game's plot begins to develop immediately after the events of the original "Shadows of Chernobyl" when Strelok destroys the "O-Consciousness" and the Zone ceases to exist.
But... Everything is so... and not quite so... The main character finds himself in Pripyat - a city that is blocked by unknown forces and a phenomenon of an unknown nature. There is no exit from the city, but for some reason "entrances" for the chosen ones exist. And his goal is to find a way to leave this closed space. In the course of solving this problem, Marked One meets many old acquaintances locked in this "cauldron", as well as new characters; they all have their own personal goals that determine their actions
